Made by River Valley Game Calls, this unit is for use with a vertical support, particularly a tree, in holding an article such as a bow, gun, or camera along with an optional “Porta Roof” umbrella. The object of this invention is to provide an apparatus that has multiple uses, with very few parts, compact, yet extremely affective, that puts your equipment right in front of you for easy access along with being very user friendly. It consists mostly of iron tubing and steel shaft material. It has 10 main pieces that will easily fit in most back packs and can be attached to a tree in just a couple minutes.
The entire package weighs less than five pounds, yet is strong enough to handle large cameras weighing as much as 3 times that. Three ½ inch course threaded screws are placed into the tree giving this device unmatched strength in all areas. The telescoping arm reaches out from 22 inches to an unbelievable length of 31 and ½ inches and locks in place with just a slight turn of a knob. This length was designed for comfort and roominess for my larger friends. With over 200 degrees of pivoting action from the main holding arm, you are able to move it with just a touch of the finger, completely out of your way which enables you to stand up and move about freely in your stand.
